Dr. Godley and Dr. Uppal will share their insights and research experience into childhood cancers. This presentation will include an overview of the incidence, prevalence, and mortality and morbidity of childhood cancers and associated secondary cancers. They will share the significance of bench to bedside translational research in pediatric cancers. Dr. Uppal, under the excellent mentorship of Dr. Godley, has been researching experimental methods to improve stratification of neuroblastoma patients. They will discuss the importance of the need for continued funding for childhood cancer research.
